Tanvi® TFR Series Disc Filters
As knoen as vent filters, disc filters, syringe filters, membrane discs, disk filters, or butterfly filters, their name is capsule filters. Specifically designed for critical biopharmaceutical and biotechnology applications, as well as laboratory liquid purification and clarification processess.
The Tanvi® TFR series 50mm syringe filters are widely used in laboratories, experimental equipment, and filtration systems for liquid clarification, air dust removal, and other processes. Suitable for gases, pure water, and biologial fluids, they feature a filtration area of up to 20 cm² and a 7~13.6 mm stepped hose barb connection.
The filter consists of a polypropylene(PP) membrane, glass fiber(GF) membrane, nylon 66(N66) mesh, or SUS316L stainless steel mesh, welded onto a polypropylene(PP) base. The filter housing is made of polypropylene, equipped with stepped hose barb inlets and outlets for connecting hoses of various diameters. The connection is also referred to as a hose barb.
